SFPA Adds Another New Member

The new member streak continues this month with the addition of Peak North America, who we’re very excited to have join the Southern Forest Products Association!

The SFPA board and staff couldn’t be more thrilled to see the hard-working members of the Southern Pine lumber community continue their support of the association and investment in strategic programs and activities that advance the Southern Pine lumber industry.

Do you know someone, either a lumber manufacturer or company that supports the Southern Pine lumber community who would benefit from SFPA membership as much as you? Get started today by clicking here.

Forest Products EXPO Exhibit Space Sales Opens Soon

It may be 485 days away, but we’re putting the final touches on our Exhibitor Prospectus for the 38th Forest Products Machinery & Equipment Exposition, and after the success of EXPO 2023, you definitely want to start planning for your return to Nashville from August 6-8, 2025, at the Music City Center.

SFPA associate members and previous exhibitors will be the first to know when exhibit space sales open in the next few weeks!

And if you’re still trying to decide if you want to exhibit, check out why you must be there from 2023 exhibitors (click here for a recap and demographics of our last EXPO):

  • We’re here to keep our face in front of customers.
  • These shows provide great feedback and discussions with customers.
  • Our company uses EXPO for a time of team building. With all our people together for dinners and drinks; it’s the perfect place to get everybody on the same page and help strengthen the company.
  • Being at EXPO gives customers and potential customers an opportunity to see our equipment and understand our position in the marketplace as an innovator.
  • EXPO keeps us relevant in the industry.

SFPA/SLMA 2024 Spring Meeting Recap

The Southeastern Lumber Manufacturers Association and the Southern Forest Products Association held their joint 2024 Spring Meeting from March 20-22 in New Orleans, and let me just say, it was great to have so many members of the Southern Pine lumber community join us.

From the presentations to the conversations, this was a must-attend event. I’d be remiss if I didn’t thank the staff members at SFPA and SLMA for their work in putting on the meeting, but, more importantly, it’s the members who attend that make this event so important.

As we often say, we’re stronger together, and the networking value these meetings provide is invaluable for establishing connections and building relationships that last a lifetime to support our industry.

Member Benefits Book

As SFPA has grown in membership and in benefits we wanted to make sure all our members new and old had an updated and detailed record of the value you receive as a member of the Southern Forest Products Association.

A hard copy of our latest SFPA Members Benefits Book was mailed to all key and marketing contacts on file with the SFPA about two weeks ago. However, if it’s been a while since you reviewed all the opportunities that come with your investment, you definitely want to click here to download a copy today to see what you may be missing out on
