In late August, American Softwoods representative Fernanda Vale presented a webinar at Expo CAMACOL. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, CAMACOL exhibitors (like American Softwoods) were given the opportunity to virtually present educational or technical seminars that were streamed through both the Expo CAMACOL platform and YouTube. Taking advantage of this opportunity, Mrs. Vale presented a 45-minute seminar on August 25th that focused on sustainability, SYP grades, treatments, and applications.

Expo CAMACOL also offered to arrange and host meetings among event attendees and exhibitors on their event platform. American Softwoods was able to take advantage of this offering and met with two construction companies who were interested in importing SYP and other U.S. softwood products.
