International Forest Products has promoted Shuoya Shu to Managing Director – Asia, the company announced June 6.
Shu joined IFP, an associate member of the Southern Forest Products Association, in 2014 to lead the company’s office in Tianjin, China.
As vice president – Asia sales, she has played a pivotal role in driving the growth of IFP’s sales throughout Asia and strengthening relationships with customers and suppliers throughout the region.
“I am happy to announce Shuoya Shu’s promotion and recognize her important contributions to IFP,” said Daniel Kraft, president and CEO of IFP. “Her dedication and leadership have been instrumental in expanding our product mix and sales presence in Asia, and I look forward to seeing her continue to lead our growth in this critically important market.”
