As we move into 2026, I want to personally thank you for the essential role you play in the success of the Southern Forest Products Association and the Southern Pine lumber industry as a whole.
The year ahead will be pivotal for our industry. From evolving markets and policy discussions to sustainability expectations and global demand, the Southern Pine lumber community will face important moments that require collaboration, clarity, and a unified voice.
SFPA remains focused on promoting the use, understanding, and value of Southern Pine lumber while advocating for our members and expanding opportunities at home and abroad.
With your continued involvement and support, I’m confident in what we can achieve together in 2026. SFPA will continue to serve as a trusted resource, partner, and advocate as we work to strengthen the industry and position Southern Pine for long-term success.

Forest Products EXPO 2027
I am proud to share SFPA is days away from finalizing a contract for the 39th Forest Products Machinery & Equipment EXPO.
While we can’t share the location just yet, please keep August 18-20, 2027, open for another amazing three days of connecting (and reconnecting), collaborating, and discovering with thousands of the best decision-makers throughout the wood products manufacturing community.

2025 SFPA Value Report
As we head into 2026, one thing I’m especially proud of is how much we accomplish when we work together. SFPA’s strength comes from our members, and the 2025 Value Report tells that story, highlighting the partnerships, progress, and impact happening across the Southern Pine industry.
The momentum we’ve built puts us in a great position for the year ahead, from growing markets and strengthening sustainability to expanding the reach of Southern Pine products. International Promotion
As of January 12, SFPA continues to await USDA funding approval to officially launch the full 2026 International Event Calendar. However, we have committed to representing the Southern Pine lumber community at three events early this year: IndiaWood, the Philippine International Furniture Show, and the Dubai WoodShow.
We do have a full calendar that includes an additional 12 international events we will share and open travel requests for as soon as we receive USDA funding approval. Thank you for your patience.
