Dolbeau Oxygene, better known as DO2, a leader in the design and manufacturing of equipment for the forestry industry, has appointed Mathieu Laflamme as sales director for the DO2 Group, which includes DO2 Industrial and its automation division, DO2 Control.
With more than 20 years of experience in sales and market development, primarily in wood product marketing and equipment for sawmills and planer mills, Mathieu brings expertise in growth and strategic development, both locally and internationally.
After working in the plastics industry in recent years, Mathieu is returning to his passion – the forestry sector.
“We are pleased to welcome Mathieu to our management team to support our growth and the development of our sawmill and planer mill equipment line, such as our new high-performance DO2 Tilt Hoist and our Lug loader, in addition to several other machines already well-established in sawmills,” said Patrick Sasseville, vice president of DO2 Group, which is an associate member with the Southern Forest Products Association. “Mathieu’s experience and vision will help strengthen our ambitions in North American and international markets.”
DO2 designs and manufactures advanced equipment for forestry plants. The company is globally recognized for its DO2 Rapid Wrapper, with more than 75 units in operation.
More recently, the company expanded its offerings with the DO2 Tilt hoist, addressing the growing needs of planer mills seeking efficiency and profitability.
DO2 Control also develops a range of robotic systems tailored to clients’ specific requirements.
