International Forest Products Names Ahmed Fazary Managing Director – Middle East

Ahmed Fazary

International Forest Products has appointed Ahmed Fazary as its new managing director in the Middle East, effective October 1.

Fazary brings a wealth of experience in the paper and packaging sector, having spent more than 20 years in senior commercial and strategic roles across international markets. Throughout his career, he has been closely involved in driving growth, developing regional strategies, and strengthening partnerships within the pulp and paper industry.

“We are excited to have Ahmed join our team,” said Daniel Kraft, president and CEO of IFP, an associate member with the Southern Forest Products Association. “This appointment reflects IFP’s ongoing commitment to global trade and emphasizes its strategic focus on the Middle East as a key growth market for forest products commodities. Ahmed’s existing contacts will be a great complement to IFP’s network, providing opportunities to expand the sales of our products across the region.”

Before joining IFP, Fazary served as the executive vice president of commerce at Middle East Paper Company (MEPCO), where he successfully expanded market presence and delivered sustainable growth in competitive environments.

His understanding of the Middle Eastern market and a background in global trade and supply chain management positions him to lead IFP’s continued expansion and customer-focused initiatives in the region.
